Litte Women (1994) & Christmas posts

As it is now December I am going to be writing lots of posts about Christmas films and this lovely season so without further ado here is Little Women.

"Little Women" is a classic coming-of-age story set during the American Civil War.  The story follows the childhood adventures of the free spirited March sisters: beautiful Meg (Trini Alvarado), fragile Beth (Clare Danes), romantic Amy (Kirsten Dunst, Samantha Mathis) and impetuous Jo (Winona Ryder).  This enduring story unwraps a gift of humour and heartfelt emotions as it follows the sisters' turbulent romances and lasting friendships in the enchanting years between childhood and womanhood, under the care of their beloved Marmee (Susan Sarandon).

I love this adaptation of Little Women. I watch it when I feel sad or unwell and it always makes me feel warm and cosy. I watch it at any time of the year, but especially at Christmas! :)

    1. I agree with you. Little Women is the perfect film to watch on a cold winter day with a duvet and a mug of hot chocolate. :) xx
